Preventative Healthcare

The gradual onset of health problems in a seemingly healthy pet often goes unnoticed. Once symptoms appear, the underlying cause may be more difficult or costly to diagnose and treat. While age itself is not a disease, it can predispose pets to many conditions that if diagnosed early can be completely reversed or controlled for extended periods of time.

At least once a year, your pet should have a complete physical examination. Over age 7, your pet may benefit from semi-annual examinations and regular bloodwork to screen for developing conditions. Remember, your pet's lifespan is much shorter than a person's. Regular screenings are integral to protecting your pet's health.
